Cookie Policy.

This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used on opsidatech.com and opsida.com.tr, their purpose and retention, and how you can manage them. It is aligned with KVKK Art. 5/1, GDPR Art. 7 and ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3).

What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies may keep you signed in, remember preferences such as language or theme, or anonymously measure how a site is used. This site also uses your browser's local storage solely to remember your cookie choice.

Categories and consent model

Cookies are grouped into three independent categories, each with its own opt-in. Strictly necessary cookies operate at all times under the legal basis of contract performance (KVKK Art. 5/2(c)). Analytics and marketing cookies require your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 7) and are not loaded until you accept them. Until you choose, no optional cookie runs.

  • Strictly necessary — always on. Session, security (CSRF), language and theme preference, the consent record itself.
  • Analytics — opt-in. First-party, anonymous, IP-masked pageview counts (Plausible-style).
  • Marketing — opt-in. Newsletter click measurement and limited remarketing pixels. May not be active at this time.

The list may change. When a new cookie category is added, the consent policy version is incremented and current preferences are re-requested.

Managing your preferences

Use the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer at any time to reopen the consent dialog and grant or withdraw consent per category. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it (KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 7(3)). You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage website data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage cookies and site data

Blocking strictly necessary cookies in your browser may break core functionality (e.g. language selection or admin sign-in).

Third parties and international transfer

We do not use third-party advertising networks, social media embeds, or session replay tools. When analytics are used, the data is processed on our first-party infrastructure and is not shared with advertising platforms. Our infrastructure is located within the European Union; any transfer outside the EU relies on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (under KVKK Art. 9 as amended in June 2024) or on appropriate safeguards under GDPR.

Contact

For questions about this policy or your cookie preferences, write to kvkk@opsidatech.com. We will respond within 30 days at the latest (KVKK Art. 13/2).
